Rise of the Templars is a multiplayer online co-op action RPG set in a player-driven medieval fantasy world. Players share social servers with up to 50 people per map and can explore, raid, and progress together.
Players can choose from multiple distinct classes, each offering unique abilities, while still shaping their character through gear, skills, and progression choices. You can acquire land and housing, travel with mounts and companions, and venture into dangerous caves, ruins, and open lands to defeat monsters, bosses, and rival players.
At the heart of Avalon lies an alternate-history storyline centered on the mysterious Templar Brotherhood. Players can choose to support their mission, uncover their secrets, or oppose their growing influence, shaping their own path through the world.
Whether you fight, gather resources, craft equipment, or build your reputation as a trader, landlord, or explorer, Avalon offers multiple ways to forge your legacy.
Is Avalon an MMO or a co-op RPG?
Avalon combines elements of both. Players share social servers where they can meet others, while most gameplay activities, including raids and adventures, are designed for smaller cooperative groups.
Can I play Avalon solo?
Yes. The game can be played solo, and many activities support individual progression. However, group play is strongly recommended for raids and challenging content.
What platforms is Avalon available on?
Avalon is currently available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store and is fully playable on Steam Deck. A console release is planned for the future.
What can players do in Avalon?
Players can explore open environments, fight monsters and bosses, complete quests, gather resources, craft gear, cook, raise companions, acquire housing, and participate in cooperative raids.
