The Avalon Alpha Community Test

It is almost time for our community to meet us inside Avalon for the alpha community test. In this article we will shine some light on what to expect and the basic requirements for joining this event.

In order to play the alpha stage of the game, you will need the following set of tools and requirements:

A Metamask Account or Wax Wallet Account.
A Gold, Silver or Emerald pass inside the wallet which you plan on connecting to the game. You can find more details about the passes here.
The game access download link which we will post in our discord at the #friends channel on the release date.

What you can expect from the alpha community test:

Testing the following in-game system:

Player inventory system
House inventory system
Raid reward distribution V1 and V2 versions
PVP zone (limited to heal, attack and block movements)
Forge item repair and item crafting system
Mill item creation and payment collection system
Forge payment collection System
Portal transportation and portal payment collection system
Multi-player raid system
Single-player quest system
Mount system: horses and dragons (mounts access will be enabled in the last week of the alpha test)
Dragons (single-player and multi-player single attack model)
In-game token system
In-game world chat system
We will deploy servers for US and EU time zones
All Communities from all the integrated chains will play together on the same servers
Owners of business buildings providing in-game services (i.e. Merchants) can expect their in-game token income to be saved for future distribution

2. Let’s discuss the alpha raid rewards system further:

Players will receive a reward badge NFT once a day, per pass, if they complete the daily raid.
Players can play any raid multiple times a day but the reward will be limited to one.
After logging into the game account, the player’s NFT pass will remain linked to that particular account for 24 hours and cannot be used to login to another account. Players are free to transfer passes between accounts at any time.
Players can have multiple accounts with multiple passes.
The in-game Raid distribution of WAX, MATIC and BUSD rewards will begin the last week of the alpha test.
On rare occasions, there will be a surprise NFT drop such as a character or a wearable item during the alpha test.
Players will be able to exchange the rewarded badges for in-game NFT characters at a ratio of 21 to 1. The characters will be of an equal rarity class to the badges (note: all 21 badges need to be of the same rarity level). The exchangeable character NFTs include: The Vikings of the Sea Clan, The Vikings of the Horse clan, The Knights Of King Arthur, and The Elven Archers. Any unused badges can be listed by their owners on the Atomic.hub or OpenSea marketplaces for sale.Players can't exchange badges and pass for : Templars, Inquisitors, Water Druid — all are exclusive dragon raider class.
Badges can be exchanged for wearable NFTs (in Beta) or a maximum of 1 character NFT per gold pass. The ratio of badges to NFTs is 21 to 1. The character NFT can be obtained after alpha and the wearable NFT items will be revealed in Beta.

3. Expect “bugs”. Large or small, we are counting on your feedback to help us clear them out.

What not to expect from the alpha community test:

Do not expect servers to work perfectly at all times or to be easy to log into in the first few weeks.
Do not expect all the in-game sounds to be perfectly synced or all quests to have voice acting connected.

Do not expect full functionality of the Xbox game controller.
Do not expect all the characters you meet in the alpha stage to be present in the final game. We are planning on fully re-designing every playable character. (Note: only the NFT characters will make their way to the final game.)
